By the editors · 2 min readFrescor Madeira em Flor — 'Freshness of Wood in Bloom' — belongs to the Ekos line, Natura's range built explicitly around Amazon and Brazilian biodiversity ingredients. The name promises a green-woody character, and the opening delivers: mint, lime, and bergamot provide a sharp herbal freshness that dissipates quickly.
The heart is spare: lily of the valley and thyme, the combination leaning herbal-floral rather than purely feminine. Thyme is an unusual choice at this price point and gives the composition a kitchen-garden directness that most commercial florals avoid. The base — sandalwood, vanilla, musk — is warm and restrained, doing little more than holding the composition together through the afternoon.
At its best, the fragrance captures the sensation of a cooling breeze through flowering trees — exactly what the name says it should be.
