By the editors · 2 min readEgeo Choc Mint opens with a herbal-fresh punch — mint and basil sharing top billing with ginger's heat and bergamot's citric lift. The mint reads as spearmint-forward rather than peppermint-sharp, which keeps the opening wearable. The heart is where the fragrance distinguishes itself: chocolate registers as dark and slightly dry rather than sweet, paired with cinnamon's warmth and sage's bitter herbaceousness, with lavender mediating between them.
The base is a familiar oriental-fougère landing — tonka and cashmeran providing softness, cedar and patchouli adding structure. A gourmand fougère that skews dark rather than sweet, whatever the playful branding implies. Best suited to cooler weather.
