By the editors · 2 min readEgeo Provoque strips back to a near-minimal architecture: narcissus, saffron, amber, and tolu balsam. The narcissus opening provides an indolic, green-floral quality with a slightly waxy edge before saffron takes over the mid-phase, introducing its characteristic leathery-metallic spice. Amber and tolu balsam anchor the drydown with resinous, faintly sweet warmth.
Despite the small note count, the composition has legible progression: the shift from narcissus's cool floralcy to saffron's heat to the balsamic amber is clear and deliberate. A spare oriental for those who prefer fragrance in shorthand rather than full paragraph.
