By the editors · 2 min readLily Absolu opens with frangipani and pink pepper — the frangipani creamy and tropical, the pepper a dry edge that briefly stirs the air before receding. The heart is devoted to white florals: lily leads, supported by jasmine sambac's heady depth, the buttery richness of ylang-ylang, orange blossom's clean sweetness, and osmanthus's faint apricot softness.
The base lets vanilla and sandalwood do the grounding work, keeping the florals aloft and skin-warm rather than anchoring them to earth. Co-created by Loc Dong and Napoleão Bastos, this is a pure white floral — unambiguous about its identity, the kind of fragrance that reads as elegant without trying to complicate itself.
