By the editors · 2 min readA densely spiced oriental masculine that compresses a full spice market into one structure. Grapefruit and bergamot provide a citrus platform that vanishes quickly as ginger, sage, basil, star anise, saffron, cardamom, and nutmeg crowd the heart — an aggressive aromatic assembly that rewards time on skin rather than assessed on paper. Iris adds a cool, powdery counterpoint that keeps the spice from becoming aggressive.
The base is expansive: sandalwood, cedar, oakmoss, amber, and patchouli lock everything into an earthy, resinous foundation with musk pushing projection. Long-wearing and best suited to cool weather and evening use.
