By the editors · 2 min readBergamot opens with a quiet citrus brightness that fades quickly, leaving space for ylang-ylang and rose to step forward. The ylang-ylang is full and slightly narcotic, while the two rose materials layer a velvety warmth beneath it — together they form a dense, heady floral heart.
As the florals settle, oakmoss and patchouli anchor the composition with an earthy, green-woody foundation. Labdanum adds a resinous, slightly animalic warmth that deepens the base considerably.
Musk ties everything together with a skin-close softness. The result is a chypre-adjacent floral with genuine earthy depth — mossy and warm rather than clean or airy, and more intimate than projecting.
