The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 11 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readMagnolia opens with a creamy lemon-peach brightness that pink pepper lifts into effervescent sparkle. The heart swells with pear’s aqueous sweetness, its juiciness tethered by freesia’s cool green stem and a soft rose that adds powdery blush rather than full bloom. As the fruit subsides, sandalwood’s dry milkwood warmth meets a clean amber glow, turning the accord from orchard to skin-level haze. Projection stays within handshake radius for roughly five hours, making it office-safe yet still perceptible during after-work drinks. Spring and early summer days, jeans and a light blouse, are its natural habitat.
