Whipped cream and chestnut open with immediate sweetness: less confectionery than the notes might suggest, more warm-bakery, the chestnut's nutty depth anchoring what could otherwise be an airy opening. Jasmine and lily in the heart are genuine florals in a sweet context, their freshness providing just enough contrast to the dessert surround. Cacao and Peru balsam in the base build a resinous, chocolate-warmed drydown; cedar adding structural support. Unpretentious and exactly what it sets out to be.
