By the editors · 2 min readBlack XS Potion for Her opens with a sharp burst of grapefruit, drier than juicy — closer to peel than flesh. The fruit fades within minutes into a heart built around red rose and a hellebore accord, the latter giving the rose a slightly green, almost medicinal edge that keeps the composition from turning straight floral.
The drydown is short and warm: amber and sandalwood, smoothed and a touch creamy, sitting close to the skin within a couple of hours.
A flanker built for fast wear — no real arc, no surprises after the first ten minutes. The packaging promised a witchy proposition; the juice is more polite than that.
