By the editors · 2 min readPure XS Night opens with ginger alone — sharp, spiced, slightly medicinal at its edges — before cinnamon arrives to warm it and vanilla smooths both into something more approachable. The spice-to-sweet arc is accomplished in three notes, without excess.

The base is where the evening in the name is earned: myrrh brings resinous, slightly smoky depth that transforms the vanilla into something more complex and deliberate, caramel adding rich sweetness that anchors the whole in gourmand territory without going saccharine. The overall character is dark, warm, and close-wearing — a fragrance for being noticed at proximity rather than distance.

The minimalism is a strength: every note earns its place, and nothing overstays.
