By the editors · 2 min readFreesia opens clean and slightly soapy, with a peppery edge that keeps the floral from going too sweet. The opening is short and polished, more functional than expressive.
Heliotrope carries the heart on its own. Its signature is the centerpiece — almond-vanillic, faintly cherry-edged, powdery in a cosmetic way. Freesia thins quickly and lets the heliotrope expand into a soft marzipan accord.
Amber and musk form the base. The drydown extends the heliotrope into a warm, slightly creamy almond-amber with musk providing a clean envelope. Simple and intimate, projecting modestly into a powdery skin scent. A quiet, almond-edged feminine soft floral.
