By the editors · 2 min readInfusion d'Iris is iris interpreted as a cold slab of polished stone. The opening is clean — mandarin and neroli, almost astringent — with a galbanum green note that keeps everything taut. There is no floral sweetness here, no powder, no violet-leaf candy.
The heart and base are where the perfume names itself: iris laid over incense and cedar, a drydown that reads architectural rather than worn. It sits close to the skin and holds for hours at low volume. The right wearer is someone who likes the idea of a fragrance as a background mood rather than a signature announcement. Works year-round, reads most clearly in shoulder seasons, disappears briefly in heat before the woods return on the drydown.
