By the editors · 2 min readCoffee dominates the base, roasted and slightly bitter, anchoring the scent with a dark granular texture that lingers on fabric. Saffron threads through the heart, lending a dry leathered spice that brightens when grapefruit flashes across the opening, then folds into clary sage’s musky-green camphor. Lavender keeps the mid-stage airy, preventing the coffee-amberwood accord from turning syrupy while extending a clean barbershop echo. As skin warms, amberwood amps up a synthetic wood sweetness that smooths the coffee grounds into a soft resinous glow without adding sugar. Projection stays within arm’s length for six hours, making it office-safe yet noticeable after lunch. Cool fall days and early office shifts fit best, where the coffee core reads like a brisk espresso rather than dessert.
