By the editors · 2 min readAn unusual hand — oud and spice on top, then strawberry against spun sugar in the heart. The fruit-and-resin pairing is the whole point of the composition: roughly half the impression is pure agarwood, the other half is a candied red that should clash and somehow doesn't.
The drydown collapses back into oud and musk, the sweetness fading first while the wood's leathery, slightly fermented edge stays. A small, deliberately strange Gulf-style attar-EDP that wears better in cool weather and at close range — recognizably Eastern, but with a contemporary gourmand twist that softens the oud's traditional severity.
