By the editors · 2 min readLime and bergamot open with a candied brightness that quickly folds into a heart of syrupy peach and jasmine, the peach lending a lactonic thickness while cardamom adds a warm aromatic edge. Iris powders the fruit, softening the transition into a base where caramel dominates, melting over sandalwood and vanilla to create a buttery amber accord. Oud appears only as a faint medicinal thread, more smoke than wood, while vetiver keeps the caramel from turning cloying by injecting a dry green snap. After two hours the citrus is gone, leaving a skin-hugging veil of caramel musk with only the patchouli providing earthy depth. Projection stays within arm’s length, making it office-safe yet unmistakably gourmand; cool fall days let the caramel bloom without overheating the wearer.
