By the editors · 2 min readAn ample citrus opening — lime, lemon, bergamot, clary sage — gives the perfume an almost herbal aromatic top, more cologne-shaped than its eventual weight suggests. Violet, jasmine and may rose appear briefly in the heart but never dominate; the structure is already pulling toward the base.
That base is the real engine. Tonka, leather and birch tar pile a smoky-sweet hide accord against ambergris and vanilla, while saffron and pink pepper run a warm spice line through cedar and patchouli. The smoky-leather edge keeps the sweetness from cloying. It wears like a citrus aromatic that grew up into a leather oriental over the course of an evening.
