The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 18 accords.

By the editors · 2 min readLavender, lemon, and bergamot open clean and aromatic — a direct statement before the fragrance descends into its real subject. The heart is spare: jasmine and rose perform a structural function, bridging the light opening to the base without asserting themselves as protagonists. The base is the point. Oakmoss and labdanum form the chypre skeleton, while ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, and incense build a warm, spiced density over them. Cardamom and styrax add a slightly smoky sweetness; vetiver and cedar provide dryness and depth. Reckless Pour Homme wears with considerable gravity — best suited to formal contexts and cold weather, where the chypre structure reveals itself differently on every skin.
