Lavender and basil start cleanly, with basil's green sharpness preventing the lavender from going sweet. The heart is unexpected — coconut and heliotrope alongside violet and May rose creates something simultaneously tropical and powdery, an unusual floral register. Then the base delivers the city's other side: tobacco, vetiver, and oakmoss with cinnamon and clove's spice accent, benzoin's sweetness, and vanilla rounding it out. It reads like a suit jacket that has absorbed a full day's worth of a good life. Projection is strong early, becoming intimate after a few hours.
