By the editors · 2 min readLemon and bergamot flash bright, then lavender muscles in, cool and camphoraceous, pinning the opening to a fougère backbone. Jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang bloom together, softening the lavender’s edges while violet dusts the heart with a cool, iris-like powder. The base lands on a mixed-media leather panel: birch tar smoke, saffron and cinnamon heat, oakmoss bitterness, all stitched down by creamy sandalwood and a vanillic amber-labdanum accord. Hours later the skin scent is a low, resinous leather smoulder, birch and oud still threading smoke through the moss. Projection stays arm’s-length for most of the day, tilting formal; cool fall evenings or a dark business suit fit its weight.
