Lily of the valley, violet and May rose function as a brief floral pivot rather than a heart proper.
Underneath, the structure is closer to a chypre than a fougère. Sandalwood, vetiver and patchouli give it weight; cardamom, nutmeg and clove keep the spice tier alive into the drydown; tonka, ambergris, labdanum and cashmeran form a soft animalic close, with musk pulling everything tight. Long-lasting, projecting, more formal than its herbal opening suggests.
