By the editors · 2 min readNeroli and bergamot open bright and slightly bitter, the neroli leaning toward orange-blossom freshness more than candied floral. The brightness is short-lived — within the first half hour the heart pivots toward mimosa, that yellow-pollen powdered floral, with rose adding weight rather than freshness.
The base is a warm cushion: sandalwood for the cream, amber for the resinous warmth, and a clean musk holding the structure. It's a soft oriental-floral that sits closer to skin than its name suggests — "intense" here describes the depth of the drydown rather than the projection. Daytime through evening across cooler months, comfortable in office and casual settings, and especially suited to wearers who prefer powdered florals over fruity-sweet ones.
