S.T. Dupont
Be exceptional
S.T. Dupont was founded in Paris by Simon Tissot-Dupont as a maker of fine leather travel cases, building its reputation on commissions for European royalty before pivoting in the 1940s to the lacquered lighters that became the brand's icon. The fragrance line opened in 1996, treating scent as an extension of the same gentlemanly object-craft. The perfumes are framed around the lighter silhouette — heavy bottles, broad caps, a deliberately masculine silhouette even in the feminine pillars. Compositions favour leather, tobacco, smoky woods and amber, occasionally softened by iris or rose. Distribution stays largely Asian and Middle Eastern, where the parent brand's luggage and writing instruments retain their strongest following.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
