The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 6 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readA two-note composition that reads more as a study than a finished perfume. Peach opens velvety and warm, the stone-fruit lush and slightly candied, carrying the opening on its own.
There is no heart in the pyramid, and the transition is abrupt: birch tar arrives within minutes, dragging the soft fruit into smoke and leather. The contrast is the perfume's whole concept — sweet flesh against burnt wood, with no transitional register to soften the collision.
The drydown belongs entirely to birch. Tarry, smoky, dry, slightly medicinal, with peach barely surviving as a fruity ghost underneath. Linear after the first hour, distinctly polarising, built for someone who treats perfume as conceptual provocation.
