By the editors · 2 min readA bright, tart opening lands immediately — lemon and bergamot cut clean, with the acidic edge of yuzu taking over quickly in the heart. There is little sweetness here; the citrus reads almost savory, with a faint grapefruit bitterness running alongside.
As the top fades, patchouli and oakmoss emerge and shift the direction noticeably. The drydown turns damp and earthy, mossy rather than woody, anchoring what was a fleet citrus into something more grounded and shadowed.
The overall character sits between a citrus cologne and a chypre — neither fully light nor fully dark. The contrast between the zesty top and the earthy base creates the main point of interest throughout its wear.
