By the editors · 2 min readA sparse masculine chypre from the 2011 La Collection archival series. Petitgrain and lemon open with a herbal-citrus clarity, mint adding a brief cool edge before the composition pivots quickly to oakmoss. The moss note grounds everything in the green, slightly waxy register that defines the traditional chypre structure, with patchouli deepening the base.
Built from few notes and makes no attempt to hide it — the construction is minimal, dry, and direct. Best in warm weather; the citrus-moss combination reads like a pressed shirt in the morning. Suited to office wear or understated daily use.
