The floral heart is classic without being predictable: jasmine and rose, warm and full, neither particularly sweet nor particularly green. They let the base do the more interesting work.
Leather, olibanum, amber, and musk form a complex, slightly smoky foundation. The olibanum reads as cool incense rather than sweet resin — sacred in the way frankincense tends to be. The leather adds texture without becoming the focus. This is a composition that becomes more interesting on the skin, worn closer than it's announced.
