By the editors · 2 min readRosa Moceniga is a rose soliflore that refuses to be anything else. It opens on rose with Sicilian bergamot and a crisp blackcurrant edge — green, tart, briefly sharp — before the flower itself takes the foreground.
The heart is rose absolute backed by magnolia and a sheer pink lotus, the bouquet kept dewy rather than jammy. It's the rendition of a single garden rose at peak rather than a perfumer's stylized rose. The dry-down folds in vanilla, white cedar and a clean musk under a faint dust of amber, anchoring the flower without sweetening it past recognition. Wears as a daytime-into-evening fragrance, comfortable in warm weather and on skin.
