By the editors · 2 min readVenetian Jade opens without a conventional top note — vetiver and suede enter from the heart, establishing a cool, earthy-leather character from the start. Rose provides the sole floral element, warm and slightly dense, creating contrast against the dry, smoky vetiver.
Tonka bean, amber, cardamom, and musk form the base, with cardamom adding a soft, sweet spice and tonka contributing a creamy, slightly nutty warmth. The amber anchors the dry-down smoothly. The overall composition is dry, slightly leathery, with a spiced-warm base — more suited to cooler temperatures and formal or evening contexts than to casual daytime wear.
