Eau de Soleil Blanc

A sun-drenched sibling to the original Soleil Blanc, this eau version opens with a brisk citrus haze—neroli and bergamot sharpened by pink pepper—that quickly gives way to a creamy white floral core.

By the editors · 2 min readA sun-drenched sibling to the original Soleil Blanc, this eau version opens with a brisk citrus haze—neroli and bergamot sharpened by pink pepper—that quickly gives way to a creamy white floral core. The tuberose here feels softer than in many Tom Ford compositions, cushioned by coconut and vanilla rather than forced into high drama. Ylang-ylang adds a buttery richness without tipping into heaviness.

As it settles, the base becomes almost edible: tonka bean and benzoin create a warm, sweetened skin scent that recalls sunscreen and resort terraces in equal measure. The tropical impression is deliberate but not cloying, more memory than recreation. It wears lighter and cleaner than typical Private Blend offerings, making it an accessible entry point for those curious about Tom Ford's aesthetic but wary of intensity. Best suited to warm weather and anyone who wants to smell expensive without announcing it.
