By the editors · 2 min readThe original Tom Ford for Men turned louche and unapologetic. Extreme opens with a jolt of bitter lemon and thyme cut through by aggressive saffron and cardamom, immediately warmer and spicier than its predecessor. The citrus burns off fast, revealing what this fragrance is really about: rum-soaked plum and cinnamon folded into creamy sandalwood and soft leather.

As it settles, the composition becomes almost gourmand—vanilla and patchouli smooth the edges while violet adds an unexpected powdery softness beneath the spice. The leather never roars; it whispers from underneath layers of sweetness and wood.

This is Tom Ford for Men with the volume turned up and the restraint dialed down. Richer, sweeter, more overtly seductive. Best suited to cool weather and evenings when subtlety isn't the goal.
