By the editors · 2 min readA bright neroli opening quickly softens into something unexpectedly plush. The citrus doesn't stay sharp for long—within minutes, heliotrope and iris blur the edges, turning what begins as a crisp aperitivo into something warmer and more enveloping. The progression feels almost backwards: starting fresh, then drifting toward a powdered, vanillic base that clings low to the skin.
The iris adds a faint lipstick coolness, but benzoin and amber dominate the heart and base, creating a honeyed sweetness that reads more dessert than pre-dinner drink. It's pleasant and easy to wear, though the "Milanese aperitivo" concept feels more metaphorical than literal.
Best suited to someone looking for a soft, cozy fragrance with just enough citrus to keep it from feeling too gourmand. It wears closer than you'd expect from a scent named after a bustling city quarter.
