By the editors · 2 min readYuzu opens with a clean, slightly bitter citrus — sharper than lemon, more rind than juice. The transition is brief; orange blossom takes over as the heart, indolic but soft, the white-flower tint that sits between honey and waxy soap.
The base does most of the work. Sandalwood and cedar form a creamy-dry wood frame, vanilla rounds the edges without taking the perfume gourmand, and patchouli adds a thread of earthy depth that keeps the woods from going thin. The composition holds skin-close once it settles, more cosmetic-warm than sweet.
Reads soft and modern — the sort of fragrance built for comfortable proximity rather than projection.
