By the editors · 2 min readNeroli and bergamot open bright and citrus-clean, pink pepper adding a faint fizz at the edges. The heart is the interesting part: heliotrope's powdery almond-cherry quality meeting freesia's light grassy freshness and coffee's bitter roast. This combination — powder, freshness, and bitter coffee — shouldn't cohere as well as it does, but Trussardi keeps the volumes restrained enough that each note is legible without competing. Amber and musk in the base are warm and understated, holding the whole thing close to the skin. A quiet early-2000s feminine with an unexpected note combination at its center, best worn when subtlety is the point.
