By the editors · 2 min readAmber opens warm and resinous from the first instant, more golden than smoky, with a faint sweetness already declaring the composition's direction. There is little citrus lift — the bergamot in the structure plays a supporting role rather than a starring opening.
Jasmine arrives in the heart, indolic and slightly creamy, layering a white-floral plushness over the amber that softens its sweetness without cooling it. Benzoin in the base extends the resinous warmth with a vanillic, balsamic depth that rounds out the floral-amber accord. The drydown holds the jasmine-amber-benzoin trio in tight balance — warm, slightly powdery, with good projection in cool weather. Modern oriental in posture, polished rather than smoky.
