By the editors · 2 min readEros Parfum opens with mint, black pepper, and lemon — a cool-spicy-citrus combination that's more assertive in the parfum than the original EDT, the pepper in particular pushing forward. Sage and lavender in the heart provide the aromatic fougère backbone, reading clean and slightly medicinal before the base arrives.
The base is where the parfum concentration justifies itself: tonka bean, benzoin, amber, vanilla, and cashmeran together build a dense, sweet-woody warmth the EDT's base can't match. Vetiver and patchouli give the sweetness earthy counterbalance. Long-wearing and commanding — an upgrade over the original that actually earns its price premium rather than just labeling itself 'parfum.'
