The opening is patchouli at full volume: damp, earthy, and slightly camphorous, with mimosa's powdery yellow-floral softness folded in to round the edges. The composition stays narrow and focused, with no fruit or citrus detour.
The drydown adds civet's animalic warmth alongside the persistent patchouli, the civet giving a furred, slightly urinous depth that emphasises the patchouli's leathery side. The overall reading is a dense patchouli-mimosa with an animalic-leathery underside, contemplative and slightly retro in feel. Longevity excellent.
