By the editors · 2 min readThe Alexandria series is Xerjoff at its most uncompromising — named for the ancient city and built accordingly. Incense, leather, and basil form the opening in intentional dissonance: the sacred, the animal, and the herbal simultaneously. Bulgarian rose in the heart brings classical floral nobility; Virginia cedar adds a clean, dry wood note to support it. The base is the house signature: sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla converging in a rich oriental accord, amber and musk extending everything into a long, radiant dry-down. A fragrance of total ambition and total follow-through — concentration and projection that demands occasion. Not a fragrance for careful moods.
