By the editors · 2 min readLeather opens the composition with a matte, slightly smoky hide that feels broken-in rather than glossy. Jasmine arrives quickly, lifting the density into a softly indolic white floral glow while labdanum’s resin thickness stretches the leather into supple folds. Sage threads an herbal, almost hay-like dryness through the heart, preventing the vanilla from sliding into dessert territory and keeping the accord angular. Over two hours the vanilla warms, turning the leather cushiony and adding a subtle tobacco-tonka resonance without overt sweetness. The dry-down stays close, a skin-hugging musk of worn leather, faintly salted herbs and a whisper of ambered bals. Projection remains intimate; it reads like a second-skin jacket best for cool autumn evenings or low-lit dates where proximity matters.
