By the editors · 2 min readA three-note woody from the Bois collection — clary sage on top, guaiac in the middle, patchouli at the base. The structure is intentional rather than skeletal: Yves Rocher's botanical line favors small palettes that let one ingredient lead.
Clary sage opens with the herbaceous, slightly sweat-tinged warmth that always reads more masculine than its perfumery cousin sage. Guaiac wood is the centerpiece — smoky, slightly leathery, the closest the brand gets to a niche woody profile. Patchouli grounds it earthy and damp. Wears closer than most Yves Rocher releases, with surprisingly persistent drydown for the price tier. A workable casual woody for anyone tired of vanilla-musk skin scents.
