The heart layers more rose with jasmine and amber, the amber thickening the floral into a warm, balsamic pool. There is an almost honeyed quality through the centre, where the amber and rose lean against each other and lend the flower a leathery edge.
The base is where the smoke arrives: myrrh and olibanum cast a dry, slightly church-bound resinous halo over the rose, with a clear oud-style woody-animalic undertone tugging the dry-down toward the masculine register. Overall it reads as a serious, opulent rose-amber — leathered, smoke-shaded, intentionally heavy. Persistent and unapologetically lush.
