By the editors · 2 min readOriental Delice opens with a dark, roasted coffee note — bitter and present, without the artificial mocha sweetness common in gourmand fragrances. Jasmine enters at the heart in a relatively clean, sunlit register, bridging the bitter opening and the sweetness that follows. White chocolate closes the composition with creamy warmth, completing the transition from bitter to floral to sweet in a sequence that is compressed but legible.
At three notes the construction is minimal. The coffee-to-jasmine-to-chocolate arc works because the transitions are genuine rather than forced. An accessible gourmand-oriental suited to cooler weather and casual evening contexts, projecting modestly and wearing close after the first hour.
