By the editors · 2 min readA bright lemon-bergamot opening that fades fast — the citrus is a doorway, not a destination. The heart is where the composition takes its real shape: lavender and lily-of-the-valley laid against labdanum and nutmeg, an unusual pairing of cool-aromatic florals against warm-resin-spice.
The drydown is deep and a little vintage in feel — patchouli grounds the resin while ambergris keeps the trail soft and skin-warmed rather than incensed. The whole reads as a high-concentration parfum rather than a daytime spray; denser, slower, more masculine-floral than the name's ambré-petal suggestion implies.
