The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 6 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readA spritz of grapefruit pulp opens the bottle, fizzy and slightly bitter, and orange peel follows quickly, more juiced than candied. Underneath, palo santo offers a dry splintery counterweight — not smoky exactly, just warm wood with the faintest sap.
The structure is linear, most of it living on top of the skin in the first half hour. Some wearers report a green patchouli undertow that the official pyramid ignores, and that reading is fair: the drydown veers cooler and drier than its citrus opening promises. Best in shoulder weather, daytime, when its lightness reads as composed rather than thin.
