Iceberg
Iceberg was founded in 1962 by Silvano Gerani and Giuliana Marchini as part of the Gilmar Group, a knitwear manufacturer in San Giovanni in Marignano on Italy's Adriatic coast. The Iceberg label proper launched in 1974 with a menswear collection that married Italian tailoring to graphic, often cartoon-driven knit motifs — Looney Tunes characters knitted into oversized sweaters became an early signature. The fragrance line followed the brand's evolution into ready-to-wear, with compositions that lean fresh, citrus-aquatic, and unmistakably designer-tier rather than niche. Releases like Iceberg Twice and Iceberg Light have served as accessibly priced entries into Italian fashion fragrance for two generations of mall-fragrance shoppers. The house remains independent under Gilmar, still controlled by the founding family from its Adriatic headquarters.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
