By the editors · 2 min readGinger and saffron open with immediate edge — the ginger sharp and almost metallic, the saffron lending an animalic, slightly smoky texture. Together they announce leather before it formally arrives in the heart.
The leather accord is dry and assertive, tobacco filling in beside it with an earthy, cured quality. Sandalwood and cedar in the base smooth the composition gradually, amber adding warmth without sweetness.
The overall result is a compact, dense fragrance: dark, structured, not particularly sweet. Amber and wood prevent it from reading as purely harsh. It suits evening wear, cooler weather, and contexts where projection is welcome.
