Laboratorio Olfattivo
Olfactory experiences born from free inspiration.
Laboratorio Olfattivo is an Italian niche fragrance house founded in 2009 in Turin by Roberto Drago and Daniela Caon. Drago grew up in his family's small Turinese perfumery and went on to build a career distributing niche fragrance across Italy before launching his own label, conceived as a workshop where established and emerging perfumers could compose with a high degree of creative freedom. The house's roster is unusually distinguished for an independent project: Jean-Claude Ellena, Pierre Guillaume, Luca Maffei, Cécile Zarokian and Dominique Ropion have all contributed compositions. Releases such as Salina, Nerolia, Patchouly and Sacreste range from luminous Mediterranean colognes to dense ambers and oud studies, with restrained, classically Italian packaging in cream and dark blue. Distribution is through specialist niche retailers across Europe and beyond.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
