The pepper accord (both pink and black) creates a crackling, kinetic energy around that core, while grapefruit adds a fleeting brightness that disappears almost as soon as you notice it.
The dry-down settles into a woody base where sandalwood and cedar provide structure without warmth. Clary sage lends an herbal, almost medicinal edge that keeps the composition from feeling too polished.
