Ricardo Ramos - Perfumes de Autor
Author's perfumery, written from research.
Ricardo Ramos – Perfumes de Autor is the independent house of Ricardo Ramos, a Colombian-Spanish fashion designer who began composing fragrance in Barcelona in 2004 with the Agua de Barcelona series. He is regarded as one of the first Latin American perfumers to build a brand of his own in Europe, and the house now operates between Spain and Latin America. Releases are framed as small cultural studies — places, periods, communities — built through extended research before any formula is drafted, and Ramos co-signs many of the compositions alongside perfumers such as Jorge Lee and Tomoo Inaba. The catalogue spans citrus colognes, leathers, tobacco accords and dense gourmands, presented in austerely labelled bottles. It suits readers of perfume who like brief liner notes with their juice.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
