Sergio Nero
Sergio Nero is a Russian fragrance label that has been releasing women's and men's perfumes under an Italian-styled name since the early 2000s, with more than a hundred entries in its catalogue. Its best-known line, Russian Present, is presented in matryoshka-shaped flacons and frames the scents — chypre fruity, floral fruity, woody floral — explicitly as souvenirs as much as wearable perfume. The house operates in the affordable mass-market tier, distributing through Russian retail and export to neighbouring markets, and leans on accessible classical structures rather than niche experimentation. Its identity is bound up with a particular kind of post-Soviet gift-box positioning: ornamental bottles, recognisable references, and price points designed for occasional rather than collector wear.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
