Terry de Gunzburg
Parisian prestige from the creator of Touche Éclat.
Terry de Gunzburg is a Parisian fragrance line launched in 2012 by the French-Russian beauty entrepreneur best known for inventing Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Éclat and founding the By Terry luxury beauty brand in 1998. After two decades of shaping the language of prestige cosmetics, de Gunzburg turned to perfumery in pursuit of her own signature fragrance, collaborating with Robertet perfumers in Grasse and insisting on the use of the finest available raw materials — tuberose absolute, iris butter, ylang ylang, rose essence. The inaugural quintet — Rêve Opulent, Parti Pris, Lumière d'Epices, Ombre Mercure, and Flagrant Délice — reflects the same vocabulary of Parisian refinement and bold individuality that runs through all of her creative work. Perfumers Michel Almairac, Sidonie Lancesseur, and Karine Vinchon Spehner have collaborated on the line, bringing technical precision to compositions built around personal memory and the particular richness of high-quality absolutes.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
